I have lived most of my life in Antigo, other then going off to school and returning here in 1978.
I have been a business owner/operator in the community since that time. My wife and I celebrated our
marriage here and raised our children, whom proudly attended and received successful achievement from
our Antigo school district & and Catholic School. We have made many good friends over the years and are
very grateful for all of them.
My appreciation for our community, and for my involvement in our local United Way, comes
from 2 main areas, besides from the many years of my personal witness of so many giving people
throughout our County that step up whenever there is a need. But from those volunteers that work
behind the scene to make a difference for those in our community that are experiencing an
overwhelming challenge. And from those that work directly with clients to provide the necessary
service and support to eventually overcome their challenge. Those are our local Agencies, providing
basic needs - food, shelter, health and education. Our United Way exists to support them. I am
honored to help in that mission.
